We know how important trust is in every relationship. Our Building Trust program can help your leaders and their team members learn how to build trust in the workplace and how to repair it when it’s been broken.

Based on 30 years of research, our trust experts have developed a simple, yet powerful trust model that provides a common language and framework, focused on the specific behaviors that build trust.

With the Building Trust program, individuals are able to understand the impact of their behaviors on building or eroding trust, and can identify those aspects that need attention to build and maintain trusting relationships.

Flexible Delivery To Meet Your Needs

Building Trust Workshops

Building Trust workshops teach participants The Elements of Trust framework, focusing on how to engage in more trust-building behaviors and a three-step process for rebuilding trust.

Building Trust is delivered as a half-day live in-person workshop or live virtual workshop. The virtual classroom begins with a pre-workshop activity followed by two 2-hour virtual sessions. With hundreds of facilitators around the world, we can deliver workshops for your organization or equip you to run them yourself. Public workshops are also available.

Building Trust offers the SLII App for Online Self Diagnosis

The training experience includes real-world practice activities

Building Trust Online Overview

Leveraging the latest in learning design and advanced technology, our online version of Building Trust is designed to introduce learners to the core concepts and skills needed to build and maintain trustful relationships.

Learners work their way through three modules composed of engaging microactivities ranging from 1 to 5 minutes each in length, requiring a total of 35 minutes to complete.

Building Trust VR Simulation

Virtual reality is one of the most impactful learning modalities. Blanchard’s Building Trust VR Simulation allows individuals to turn their knowledge into skills by practicing in life-like conversations with a virtual human in an immersive environment. Learners can gain the confidence to build trust and restore trust in a risk-free environment.

Building Trust VR Simulation includes two modules: one on recognizing trust issues and one on restoring trust. Modules can be accessed with Oculus Quest 1 & 2 or streamed on your desktop.

Building Trust Clicks

Our on-demand performance tool, Building Trust Clicks provides learners with trust tips that can be accessed just-in time during moments of need or can be used to introduce, refresh, or reinforce skills before or after a training session.

Building Trust Clicks includes a searchable playlist of 12 microactivities that range from 1 to 5 minutes to complete. Each Click is a short exercise or video that focuses on one key element of building trust such as apologizing, recognizing defensiveness, or restoring broken trust.
