Blanchard’s newly revised Leading People Through Change Program creates resilient, change-adaptive organizations—Now Available

SAN DIEGO, CA (June 3, 2020)—The Ken Blanchard Companies®, the global leader in management training and coaching, announced today the release of its newly revised Leading People Through Change® program. The program teaches leaders the mindset, process, and skills to lead change and create resilient, agile organizations.

The backbone of Leading People Through Change is a high-involvement, collaborative solution that invites all parties into the change process. This inclusive approach draws on the latest academic research on leading organizational change and Blanchard’s 30 years of experience in the field.

Organizational change is a fact of business life. Change initiatives often fail because they are top-down approaches that require large numbers of people to change at the same time. But the organization and their leaders lack the framework and skills to guide people through it effectively. With the unprecedented amount of recent change that goes well beyond any planned change initiative, building up the change leadership in an organization is more imperative than ever.

The Leading People Through Change program teaches executives and managers how to lead successful change efforts by involving others throughout the process. The program uses a time-tested, research-based approach to address the predictable stages of concern that people go through when faced with change.

The refreshed program is suitable for change initiatives of all types and sizes. Workshops can be delivered to an intact team working on a specific change initiative or in an open-enrollment format to build change leadership capability across the organization. The new design can be implemented as a one-day, face-to-face workshop, or virtually in two two-hour sessions plus two 90-minute sessions. Both designs include compelling visuals and materials, engaging videos, and proven learning activities. Leaders will assess their organization’s current change readiness, develop an action plan for successfully leading a current change effort, and build change leadership capability throughout the organization.

The program features Blanchard’s proven, interactive design in which participants experience different learning modalities as they move from a workbook to interactive group learning and then to video examples. The design also includes access to post-class tools and challenges. Using Blanchard’s online learner portal, learners can review materials, access forms, and deepen their learning.
