Building effective teams has never been more challenging given today’s global and matrixed workplace. Lack of accountability, poor communication, difficulty making decisions, and engaging all team members to participate in problem solving and decision making are some of the obstacles many teams face.

Establishing a clear charter and norms for communications can empower team members, increase the likelihood of  success and help teams move through the predictable stages of development more quickly to optimize team performance.

Situational Team Leadership Overview


This one-day program takes an innovative and flexible approach to complex team issues through a powerful five-step approach. Participants gain tools and learn processes to synchronize team members faster and more successfully to encourage collaboration and better problem solving. Additional modules are available based on team and organizational needs and can be added to expand the training session to a two- or three-day design.

ASSESSMENTS - Team Performance Assessment (TPA) and the PERFORM Rating Scale Assessment are designed for use with Situational Team Leadership. TPA measures self-perceptions of a team's overall stage of development; PERFORM measures a team against seven sets of characteristics of a high performing team.

DELIVERY METHODS - Situational Team Leadership can be delivered Face-to-Face, Virtual, or in a Blended design that combines both.
