Master of Science in Executive Leadership (MSEL) Program

The University of San Diego in alliance with The Ken Blanchard Companies, created the Master of Science in Executive Leadership (MSEL) Program, an innovative values-based graduate degree for established and emerging business leaders.

Business leaders are challenged on more fronts than ever before and leadership is one of the most under-utilized resources in business today. It’s not enough for leaders to merely identify strategic goals, they must develop the ability to motivate others and to keep them motivated, helping them make a difference in the world today. In the MSEL program, students will learn leadership techniques that have been proven in the real world and are immediately applicable to the workplace.

Students will embark on a 22-month, cohort-based journey. Delivered in an executive format, students meet one weekend per month on the USD campus. The weekend format, combined with the real world application makes earning the degree realistic, even for a busy CEO. “Learn it on the weekend, apply it on Monday!”, says MSEL alumni Garry Ridge, President and CEO of WD-40. It’s not time away from work, it’s time to reflect on your work.
